When you find the property, a reservation deposit takes it off the market while the review and contract are prepared.

Negotiate price, deadlines, and what is included (furniture, parking spaces, storage room).

Reservation contract
Set the amount, usually between €3,000 and €10,000, and the validity period.

Conditions
State in writing that the reservation is refundable if the legal review is not satisfactory.

Secure payment
Always pay to an agency or lawyer's account, never in cash.
